OFF-CAMPUS AFFAIRS SUB-COMMITTEE
Do you feel as though there is more Deakin Law Students’ Society Geelong should be doing for Off-Campus students? SO DO WE! That is why we’ve created our Off-Campus Affairs Sub-Committee.
The Off-Campus Affairs Sub-Committee operates as part of the Deakin Law Students’ Society Geelong’s Off-Campus Affairs Portfolio. The purpose of the Sub-Committee is to develop events and initiatives aimed at engaging off-campus students studying law at Deakin University.
The Sub-Committee is structured to ensure you are able to engage with Deakin Law Students’ Society Geelong, but in a flexible manner that suits your work and lifestyle. Sub-Committee meetings will be held online, each month, and attending larger Deakin Law Students’ Society Geelong Committee meetings are completely optional!
However, if you want to get more involved, you can always nominate for a different Deakin Law Students’ Society Geelong position at our AGM!
The positions available on the Off-Campus Affairs Sub-Committee include:
Events Officer
Responsibilities include:

Planning and running events for cloud students; and
-
Proposing and implementing effective ways to engage cloud students.
Marketing Officer
Responsibilities include:
-
Assisting with the administration of the Off-Campus Facebook Page and any other additional pages; and

Liaising with the Deakin Law Students’ Society Geelong Marketing Portfolio to market any material produced by the Sub-Committee.
General Officer
Responsibilities include representing the views of Deakin University law students who study off-campus.
